My Friends Double as Models

Do I have a new obsession? Yes. They are these in-home sessions with goddesses I just happen to call friends!

As a full camera card rests in the hardworking Canon sitting on my passenger seat, we already know that family in-home sessions and love stories are basically just an excuse for me to cry happy tears in my car the whole way home. It's like some weird, joyful therapy that I can't quit.

But now I'm discovering new work to drool over. . .

Earlier this year, I began photographing for the incredible artist, designer, and creator that is Aks Mathur. 

I have shown off a few of his inspiring pieces on Instagram and in my Secret Homework post.

One thing that working with Aks has allowed me to do is showcase these fearless women I'm lucky enough to call my friends, who are, ya know, just being themselves. And models.
